I actually wished they’d flew me to Ohio and shoot them over there for their US Wedding. But, nothing beats shooting in our own backyard. The backyard this time was in Melaka. People say if you haven’t visited Melaka, then you haven’t visited Malaysia. It’s kinda true. Shooting at some of the locations in Melaka made me feel lucky that we have such a well world renowned state. The couple was extremely easy going and helped me very much with my shoot. Their interracial ties had really shown what modern wedding photography was about ; ie. bonding and capturing the essence of the romance and candidness of their ties and showing that there is really nothing to it when it comes to love. That was what I was out to capture. And with Celia and Rajesh in front of the lens….I managed to capture subtle love and inevitable romance that was obvious in their eyes.
